Mechanical engineers

Mechanical engineers are a class of engineers who deal with anything related to machines. These machines range from internal combustion engines, refrigerators and air conditioners and automobiles to production equipment like lathes, drilling machines and milling machines.

Mechanical engineering is divided into three fields: design, thermal and production. Design deals with the design of various machine elements. Thermal deals with the basics of heat work conversion and the machines related to it. Production deals with the various methods needed to produce various components ranging from computer chips to airplane bodies.
